Mai Shiranui is a popular character from the fighting game franchise Fatal Fury. She is a kunoichi, or female ninja, known for her flamboyant fighting style and revealing outfit.

Mai's fighting style incorporates the use of fans and pyrokinesis, allowing her to create and control fire. She is the granddaughter of Hanzo Shiranui, a master ninja, and is often romantically linked with Andy Bogard.

Her first appearance was in Fatal Fury 2 in 1992. Since then, she has become a staple in the fighting game community, appearing in numerous King of Fighters titles and other crossover games.
